La Acapulquena Mexican Restaurant (LAMR)

May 4, 2016

For starters, we at YPR are rather serious when it comes to our Tex-Mex. We cant help it, we’re from Texas! So lets get to it, walking into La Acapulquena  it felt very homey as if we were invited over to a friend’s house to watch Sunday Football. As we were seated we were brought out warm homemade chips along with two delicious authentic cups of salsa. Each salsa had its own unique taste and was accompanied with a cup of the house queso which was also pretty tasty. If we don’t know anything else, we know a good enchilada and we also know that the beans and the rice are the enchiladas support system. With that being said on a scale of 1-10 we would give the chicken enchiladas a solid 7 ½. We were also able to sample the beef taco and it wasn’t bad, but we could have probably done without it.The rice and beans were good, but nothing special. We did not have drinks during this visit, we know right, how is that possible. But we’ve heard that the Margaritas are on point. We would probably go again if we were in the area, especially to try the margaritas. The bottom line is LAMR is good, but nothing to write home to mother about.”You People” let us know what you think about La Acapulquena Mexican Restaurant in our comments section once you get a chance to check it out.
